Residence Halls

Greensboro College has four residence halls which provide a variety of living options. All halls are air-conditioned and each room has computer ports, cable TV, and a telephone jack. Computers, televisions, telephones, and answering machines must be provided by the individual residents along with all necessary cables. All of the halls are smoke-free and each hall has coin operated laundry facilities.

East Campus

Greensboro Hall: All Female

Greensboro Hall houses approximately 85 women on 3 floors. First floor rooms are set up suite style with some private bathrooms. Second and third floor have community bathrooms. Lofts may be constructed in all rooms in Greensboro. Typical room dimensions in Greensboro are 12’wide x 12’ deep with a private entry way and walk-in closet.

Hill Hall: Coed

Hill Hall houses over 250 men and women on four floors. All rooms in Hill are situated suite style. The third floor houses honors program residents and an honors lounge. Hill also has two general use study lounges and a full kitchen located on the ground floor as well as small kitchenettes on each of the upper floors. Typical dimensions in Hill are 12’ wide x 19’ deep with a bathroom adjoining the neighboring room.

West Campus

West Hall: All Male

West Hall houses 175 men on 3 floors with community style bathrooms. West has a small computer lounge on the main floor and a large study lounge in the basement as well as a recreation room with a ping-pong table. Lofts may be constructed in West Hall. Typical dimensions in West are 11’ wide x 18’ deep.

The Inn at Greensboro College: Coed

The Inn houses approximately 110 men and women. The Inn is the only residence hall which features exterior corridors. Every room at the Inn has a private entrance and bath. The Inn also has a large lounge with a full kitchen, eating area, TV lounge and ping-pong table as well as on site laundry and mailboxes. The Inn also has an on site security office. The Inn is reserved for upper class students. Typical dimensions at the Inn are 12’ wide x 17’ deep with a private bath.
