Residence Life

The mission of Residence Life at Greensboro College is to provide a focused living and learning environment dedicated to safety, community, and education.

Our Mission like the roof of a building, is the visible aspect of our department. This defines who we are and what we hope to accomplish.

Our Pillars - Safety, Education, and Community: These represent our departmental necessities. If we do not meet these needs of each of our residents our structure will collapse. Transversely, when we are effective in meeting these needs they should be seamless to residents.

Our Focus - Development, Service, Governance, and Facilities: In order to meet our resident’s needs and fulfill our mission we must be focused. As a building without steps is impossible to enter so goals without focus are unattainable. We will continually strive to be a focused organization and will redefine our focus areas as necessity requires.
