JSTOR -- JSTOR offers a high-quality, interdisciplinary archive to support scholarship and teaching. Journals are always included from volume 1, issue 1 and include previous and related titles.

Encyclopedia of Animals -- Articles and images on the nature and habitat of animals.

Greenfile -- Scholarly and general interest titles on environment and ecology.

Ask a Biologist -- Website from Arizona State University that is intended for K-12 biology students, their parents, and their teachers. This site has lots of hands on biology activities and easy to understand illustrations and explanations suitable for younger biology students.

BioEd Resources -- Online resources for biology teachers. Website is from Baylor University and includes slide sets, lesson planning materials, and presentations.

Action Bioscience -- Nonprofit bioscience education site whose aim is to make bioscience understandable to the general public.

The Habitable Planet -- Environmental education information website. Search for information by either topic or format (video, interactive labs, etc). Produced by learner.org

Massachusetts Institute of Technology OpenCourseWare -- OpenCourseWare provides free, searchable access to MIT's course materials for educators, students, and self-learners around the world.
