Mrs. Barbara Reynolds Valentine, class of 1957, is a new member of the Greensboro College Board of Trustees.
Dr. Barbara Zwadyk, class of 1981, was named the chief curriculum and organizational development officer for Guilford County Schools (GCS). Zwadyk has served in the interim role since January 2009.
Sarah Joy Daniels, class of 2008 with a degree in math education, was named Guilford County's Rookie Teacher of the Year. She teaches math at Grimsley High School. Her reward includes $500 and free tuition for a master's degree at UNC-G.
Kristi Hunter, class of 2005, has been promoted to the position of director of judicial affairs at High Point University.
