I am a native North Carolinian, born and raised in Advance and now reside with my wife and two boys just outside of Greensboro in the small town of Colfax. Although I am not a product of GC, I can claim ties to the College through my youngest brother Clint, a proud member of the Class of 2000. I encourage you to visit our campus so I can meet with you, get to know you and help you decide whether or not Greensboro College is the right place for your higher education experience. Hi! I have been a member of the GC family since 2004, when I enrolled as a freshman. I was born and raised in the eastern part of North Carolina and always knew I wanted to attend GC because I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my grandmother who graduated from GC in 1947. I started working in the Admissions Office a few short months after graduation. GC is truly a special place, even more so to me because I met my fiance here. I encourage you to come and visit so you can see all that GC has to offer. Hi! I assist in the management of all admissions records and will be one of the smiling faces that greet you upon your arrival to the Admissions Office. I am a native of North Carolina and graduated from GC with a Bachelor of Science in History/Political Science. In 2008 I returned to the College to work for the Admissions Office. Hi! I am your Admissions Counselor if... - you attend high school in Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Vermont.
I just recently graduated from Greensboro College in May of 2010. I loved my time as a student at Greensboro College and look forward to sharing my wonderful experiences with all the new and potential students. The small community that makes up Greensboro College has been my family for four years and will always be with me in the years to come. I encourage you to visit the campus and experience the wonderful opportunities that are available to you.
| Andrea M. Humble Coordinator of Admissions Records B.S., Greensboro College (1995)
--- Welcome Center (336) 272-7102 x388 andream@greensborocollege.edu | Hi! I am the point of contact for all traditional students who would like to re-enroll at Greensboro College. I also serve as manager of all admissions records. I came to GC as a freshman in 1991 from Reidsville, North Carolina and never left! I spent four years as a student and was involved in everything from SGA to the inaugural Women's Lacrosse team to Residence Life to Student Ambassadors. I loved my time at GC so much that I began working for the Admissions Office less than a month after graduation. I can not imagine working anywhere else! I live in Reidsville with my husband Daniel and our daughter Allie who I hope will become a member of the class of 2031 here at GC. Hi! I oversee the traditional admissions operation as the Dean of Enrollment. I've been at Greensboro for 10 years and working in college admissions for 30 years. For you that must sound like a long time, but for me it has been a great, fast paced experience. I've had the wonderful opportunity to meet thousands of interesting students and parents through the admissions experience and am now happy to call many of them my friends. Both my son and daughter have attended GC so it's become a real family kind of place for me. I hope I'll have the opportunity to meet you when you visit campus and I look forward to you becoming part of the family. Hi! If you would like to schedule a visit to campus then call me or go online and complete our online form. I also assist in the management of all admissions records. I graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and a minor in French from Radford University in Virginia. I became a member of the GC family in 2008 and have thoroughly enjoyed becoming a part of this institution.

I am a proud alumna of GC. I was born and raised in Greensboro and attended Western Guilford High School. When I was a little girl my babysitter attended GC and would bring me to the campus to play on the front lawn. Of course, when it came time to consider colleges, Greensboro College was first on my list. My favorite class at GC was Statistics - that is where I met my husband! I encourage you to visit the campus and experience the wonderful opportunities that are available to you.
